Great work Grant! I am no art lover but I think cartoon type animation is a great way to get to the uneducated like myself. Would love to see some sports animations especially Orienteering as its my passion. Keep up the good work.
Hey Thanks for the response everyone. I've been trying to steer myself in new direction and I'm glad you all appreciate my efforts.
George-Uhm, yeah I think I get ya.
Rosie- Danka, Rose, you are too.
Mick- Yeah, I could go for some sports. Shane Prigmore did some awesome Baseball figures.
Paul- Thanks so much Paul.
Martin- Hey, these are all Wacom doodles.
Claudio- Wow! Thanks, your work really gets me inspired.
Doodlers - Hey J and A thanks! Yes some of these are from loose pencil studies. I don't scan them I just use them as reference. That way they can maintain a certain freshness instead of tracing over a sketch. Which I tried, but it killed the spirit of the drawing so I find it best to not force the color doodle to adhere to the drawing, but instead let it become something of it's own. I may even omit certain things or add new things. I treat them as two seperate entities.

great work Grant! I totally love how minimal you kept the strokes and palette, yet still portray so much character with each of these.
Very inspiring!
