Wow! I just found your blog through Nick Sung's blog. Your stuff is great. If you don't mind me asking, which school are you at? There is a possibility that I might go to San Francisco's Academy of Art for school in the future. If that's it, I was wondering what you think of it...

Love the tilt of the head on the seated girl- first one in the group. All good, but that one nails the expression =)

Hey Amelia,

Thanks a bunch. Yes, I'm at the Academy of Art U. It's been a very positive experience for me. I've grown quite alot in school. I would also say that it's up to you to seek out what you want and need to learn because no school is perfect. Seek the instructors and peers who can encourage and propel you into the future with momentum.

You can email me if you have any specific questions. hyperpowered@sbcglobal.net

Hey Grant!

I checked out your CA.org art thread as well, and I must say:

Damn you're a spectacular artist! I'd really love to see where you style goes from here. I can see a strong Walt Stanchfield (or whoever coined that character style) influence, and I love the poses. I really liked your April 15th drawings because there seemed to be more emphasis on mood/story through staging, light, composition, etc.

I can't wait to see more of your stuff. Keep up the awesome work! :)

You draw like Quentin Blake. His drawings are sketchy and sharp, but generally unique, which is what I see in your drawings. You have a gosh-darn talent there. :D

Keep up the daily post since I'm flagging your blog and I really don't prefer to be disappointed.;D
