Hooray!!!!!

I've come close to the end. This is my last semester. I'm a ball of excitement and trepidation. New things and unknown things await. Directions change and motivation shifts. New friends and old friends. Fighting off fears and doubts about the future. Being inspired to make something great!!!

Monday was the first day of my last semester. And what was the first thing I was handed?

I'm so excited!!!!!!!! For some, this handout is old news, but right now everything is new for me, storyboarding and Joe Ranft are part of this rich history that I'm just digging into. Exciting stuff!! I'm looking forward to getting into this world and gleaning every nugget I can in the next 15 weeks.

Below are a mish mash of sketches from this past holiday. I'm stepping into new territory, not completely, but still a departure for me. Drawing at the book store, Mia's new tri-cycle, trying to capture the brutality of UFC fighting, the family dog, Emy and her grandmother...it was a good break.

I think your style is starting to vulcanize. Just add rocket fuel.

Very sweet sketchs of the dog asleep and the woman with the glasses 'laying into' that fellow.

Do keep us posted as your semestre continues.
